It's my 100th blog post!! And to celebrate I'm resurrecting this challenge, which I will finish!
As for my favourite line, I think it has to be this one.
“Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” - Albus DumbledoreinHarry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
This is a really old quiz thing I think I did all the way back in the days of myspace. I just think it's a bit of fun and it'll give you all a chance to see the random assortment of music I have!
How to Play:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc) 2. Put it on shuffle 3. Press play 4. For every question below, type the song that’s playing 5. When you go to a new question, press the nextbutton 6. Don’t lie and try to pretend you’re cool …
Here are mine:
Opening Credits:A Sentimental Man - Wicked Cast (Erm... Not a good start.)
First Day At School: Time After Time - Chet Baker
Falling In Love: Ratatouille Main Theme (Very fitting, even though you wouldn't think it.)
Breaking Up: Dejection - Fast and the Furious Soundtrack
Prom: Rhapsody on Paganini - Rachmaninov (Beautiful piece of classical music!)
Mental Breakdown: The Interview - AFI
Flashbacks: My Cup - Glee (These could only be happy flashbacks...!)
Getting Back Together: Sensible Heart - City and Colour
Wedding Scene: Elephant and Castle - Houston Calls
Final Battle: I Could Have Danced All Night - Glee (Oh dear, 2 Glee songs?... Ooops.)
Death Scene: No One But You - We Will Rock You Cast (Good song! Although it does imply that in my movie I'm going to be dying young. Oh dear.)
Funeral Song: Cry - Rihanna
End Credits: Headfirst Slide into Cooperstown on a Bad Bet - Fall Out Boy
That picture is me at graduation! I get to do it twice because I'm special! (Also because I did a foundation degree then a top up... Technicalities.) Anyways there I am in all my glory and silly hatness. I've honestly never felt so ridiculous, those robes have so much fabric in them, they kept slipping off and I felt like I was walking round with a table on my head. It was all good fun though!
And now on to the last point! Which I can't really do seeing as this has taken me 3 months to finish instead of 30 days.... I'll just go with what has changed whilst I've been doing this challenge.
So the first thing that changed was I became a 3rd year and decided what I'm going to focus on this year!! Go me!!! I also graduated (see picture above!). However I have felt a little less confident in myself recently. That tends to happen when 2 of your tutors practically accuse you of bullying just because one of your close friends isn't doing exactly what they want her to. Oh well I'm sure I'll be back to myself in no time!
Ok now what I hope will happen next month. Well firstly I hope that the 2 shows I have go well! Secondly I hope we get snow on Christmas and that I have a lovely time with all my family.
That's it for this challenge! I'm going to start another one on Monday, and hopefully finish it properly this time.

Right so seeing as this challenge has dragged on for way longer than 30 days (because I suck, sorry!) I'm just going to get these last 3 posts out of the way tonight so I can move on to something new!
So I'd have to say the month I was happiest this year was probably August. My 21st birthday was at the beginning of the month and my wonderful boyfriend took me out for an awesome day in Keswick. We went horse riding in the morning and then spent the rest of the day wandering around Keswick. We also took a lovely boat ride on Ullswater! (See video montage below! The song used is Queen of the Surface Streets by DeVotchKa)
I was also able to spend some time with my Granny in August. I'd not seen her for months so it was really lovely, especially as it was her 80th!
August was also the month when I had my Harry Potter week, always a good thing! If you want to read more about it then I suggest you read this post.

Erm... I have none. I'm an only child! I can't really say much else so I'll just move on.
So it's around a month until Christmas now so I thought I'd start getting in the spirit by making my layout a little more festive! Hope you like it!
If you fancy getting in the Christmas mood then check out my gingerbread biscuit recipe I posted last year. It's the yummiest gingerbread I've ever eaten! This year I'm planning on posting a last minute Christmas cake recipe. I made it for my bf's parents last year and they loved it so I hope you do too!

Ok so this isn't really the 30 day challenge any more seeing as I started this in September and it's now November... Sorry!! But I will persevere til the end!
I've been putting off writing this one for a bit because religion is always a tricky subject. I've never been particularly religious myself but I do love going to churches, cathedrals and places of worship like that I always find fascinating.
As for the practise of religion itself, I'm not so sure about that. I don't have anything against the basis of the religions themselves, but there's always that one extremist view. I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable believing in something that someone else has interpreted in a way which could hurt other people.
For now I'm just content dipping into religion occasionally and being more of an observer. Although I can't deny that I do love the carol concerts at the cathedral at Christmas time. It's not Christmas without a good sing song!
All pictures were taken at Carlisle Cathedral. If you're ever in the city you should take a look inside, it's beautiful!

This is the one I've been waiting for!!! Simply because I find it amusing to leave messages and I know who they're for/about but no one else does. Yeah I'm a little strange...
1. I love you even when you annoy me.
2. You're like a sister to me. You should never doubt yourself because you're awesome just the way you are. (Yeah I totally started singing that Bruno Mars song in my head as I typed that...)
3. I'm not entirely sure what happened for those 4 months a couple of years ago but I'm glad it's forgotten!
4. Get a grip and stop moaning every 5 seconds. Also, teacher's pet much?
5. Since when did the little kid I knew turn into one of the so called popular girls.

Bless your face. If you sneezed whilst reading this blog post, bless you!
Okay well I don't really think "What if" about anything. I tend to try not to dwell on the past... I guess the one thing I do think about sometimes is what if I was doing some kind of academic degree like English... Man I would be bored out of my mind. I like making things too much!!
Hufflepuff, as a whole, just has this thing called modesty. We don't go around shouting about how great and amazing we are, that doesn't mean we're all stupid.
I guess I just get so annoyed about it because I am very much a Hufflepuff. I feel like I get overlooked sometimes, just the way Hufflepuff is. But you know what, that's fine. I know what my priorities are and they're being happy making sure my friends are the same. To me the relationships we have with other people are the most important thing about this life that we're given. I love my friends and I will stick by them through thick and thin.
All the other houses have their own priorities. Gryffindor are the brave ones, the good ones in the limelight, always saving the day. Slytherin are in it for the glory, they will do anything to get what they want. While Ravenclaw value intelligence and academic success. But what if you lose these things? What then? Hufflepuff's are able to build strong friendships and keep them and, at the end of the day, friends are the ones who will be there to catch you when you fall and pick you back up again.
I guess what I'm saying is that I think Hufflepuff's have their priorities right. Yeah all the other stuff is great but what's fun about it without having someone to share it all with?
Right so last argument I had. Well I don't actually remember the last big proper argument I had... The last little argument I had was with Dunc I think. Over something silly like the cleaning. Needless to say it was over in 5 minutes.

This one should be easy!! So recently I told you about the film Totoro and how much I love it. Well have you ever listened to the soundtrack? It like an instant happiness injection. Seriously!!
If that doesn't work then sitting down with a big cup of tea and watching Pride and Prejudice will! I'm a total hopeless romantic.

If your parents have been there for you and given you the best start in life they could then I believe you should be grateful and show that. Surely that's just common sense though?
Found this on Pinterest and, to me, it makes perfect sense :)
I guess the thing I'm scared most of is the unknown. Whether this be taken in the sense of physically not being able to see because of the dark/fog or more in the sense that I don't exactly know what my future holds, it doesn't really matter. Both versions scare me if I'm honest. One is more of an excited scared, I'll let you figure out which one that is.
Ok I'm pretty sure this shouldn't be as hard as I'm finding it.
1. I like to think I'm quite empathetic. I'm good at thinking about how things will affect other people's feelings.
2. I think I'm a good listener, however a few people at uni have made me question this.
3. I'm now comfortable enough to be myself. If you don't like me then that's fine, I honestly don't mind, but I'm not going to try and change myself to be something you'll like.
Now that that's over with I'm going to digress a little. Remember me telling you about that pizza braid ages ago? Well I've finally dug out the pictures I took to show you.
It definitely tasted good, however I'm not sure it was entirely worth the hassle... Partly my fault for not putting it on the baking tray before assembling it but it also just didn't want to cut. It was really quite bizarre.
Think I'll stick to normal pizza for now.
